Dr. Hancox teaches a variety of relaxation techniques and mindfulness. She is also a qualified teacher of Pangu Shengong Moving Form which not only relaxes the mind but heals the body. (This is on the same idea as Reiki, healing with Qi, but experientially, Pangu Shengong is a stronger, more direct energy.) Most importantly, you will learn to get out of your own way, change patterns, see options and have more fun! You will ‘graduate’ with new strategies to help you maintain an even keel.
There is a saying: If you can’t do; teach. Sometimes this is the case, but then all you get is bad teaching. Teaching is a skill and a gift; I love sharing information!
Where? I teach at my home office in Amesbury, MA. Individual or group classes are available.
What do I teach?
- PanGu ShenGong Moving Form- This a Qigong form developed by Master Ou for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining optimal health. It is simple to do, requires no special space, garment or time of day. You can even be interrupted and resume the form without loss of benefit. Individual or group.
- Qigong Mindfulness- This is a form I picked up along the way in my years of Tai Chi Chuan practice and study. It too is very simple to do. I incorporate this in my clinical work and Resilience Training.
- DREAMwork- If you are interested in learning how to use your dreams for creative problem solving, I teach a six week program, either group or individual; you may call for rates. I use my book, Subliminal Focusing; the Key to Performance as reference and study guide.
